Web Content Management
User Experience
Where user needs meet business goals.
Carousels/Slides

I manage the Above-the-Fold user experience by carefully selecting and positioning slide assets that represent Puckett’s core business units. I utilize the preset transition effects (fades and slides) to create a dynamic but professional entry point for the site, ensuring that the most important promotional content is served first to maximize user engagement.
Design Task (Front-End)
Creating the background graphic.
Writing web copy and call-to-action.
Deciding on the slide order.
Keeping the 16:9 or custom width consistent so the page doesn’t jump (Layout Shift) when a new slide appears.

Video Interaction

I managed the front-end deployment of recruitment videos, utilizing WebFX-designed wrappers to ensure visual consistency. This involved maintaining a responsive 16:9 aspect ratio across all device breakpoints and ensuring that the video player didn’t break the ‘ThinkBIG’ page’s visual flow. I focused on the UX (User Experience) by placing videos strategically to support the written content, providing a high-engagement ‘multimodal’ learning experience for potential applicants.
Design Task (Front-End)
Utilizing WebFX Custom Fields for brand-compliant styling.
Comfortable using Media & Text layout where the video sits next to the bullet points.
Maintaining a responsive 16:9 aspect ratio across all device breakpoints and ensuring that the video player didn’t break the ‘ThinkBIG’ page’s visual flow.

Contact Form CF7

On the frontend, my HTML edits focused on Form Usability and Accessibility. By modifying the field attributes, I collaborated with WebFX to clearer state placeholder text. I ensured that custom WebFX classes were applied to the ‘Submit’ buttons to maintain brand consistency, providing a high-conversion interface that felt native to the Puckett Machinery design system.
Design Task (Front-End) – utilizing the html code style by WebFX
I used <div> containers with custom classes to modify the web copy my company desired. |
I ensured specific input types (like tel for phone numbers and select for “Which Program Interests You”) were used to trigger the correct keyboards on desktop and mobile devices. |
Collaborated vendor workflows with WebFX, translating internal business requirements into technical tickets for high-level site architecture updates.
